Angel Leiva | The Dominican Republic
Two of the areas of ministry that my heart is most passionate about are evangelism and discipleship. During these years serving in the Dominican Republic, I have understood that many people not only need to hear the message of salvation, but also to be guided and affirmed in their spiritual growth.
Much of my time is dedicated to organizing and leading evangelistic services in the various churches and communities where we work. It is a great blessing to see how God continues to touch hearts and bring new people to His feet. Every conversion reminds us that the gospel continues to transform lives.

In addition to evangelism, another important part of my daily work is biblical teaching, discipleship, and the formation of new leaders within churches. I have the privilege of working alongside a board of directors committed to the vision of expanding the Kingdom of God to more places. I also collaborate with the men’s, ladies’ and youth societies in the different spiritual activities that are carried out. Serving in the Lord’s work is one of the greatest blessings of my life, and it fills me with joy to see more men and women preparing to serve faithfully in their congregations.
We also dedicate time to strengthening the national work in administrative and legal aspects. Part of my daily responsibilities include keeping the legal obligations of the churches before the different institutions of the Dominican State up to date, thus ensuring that the work continues to operate in an orderly and stable manner.
As a family, we thank God for allowing us to serve together in His work. Seeing lives transformed, new leaders rising, and congregations growing spiritually encourages us to keep going. Our prayer is that God will continue to open doors to extend His Kingdom in the Dominican Republic.
